I was watching the news today and saw this, I thought I should share. It's a rather dramatic photo of the Helix Nebula taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, estimated to be about 215 parsecs or 700 light years from Earth.
The nebula is often referred to as “the Eye of God.” They say!
