i think she's part right tk...but too much of a career can make you loose not only your family- but friends ( anna heathway in the movie devil wears prada is a good example)
Both, most of these rich and famous people are not happy coz they choose their careers over their families, they end up having money but are not happy.
Yote kwa yote, balance lazima iwepo. When it comes to career, do your best like its your last day at work. But one should not use the family time to build or rather cement a career. Lazima mtu akubali kuweka limitation to the working hours ili akatumie the quality time with his/her family.
Manake wengine ndio utakuwa yuko kazini asubuhi mpaka saa tano usiku, usisahau jumamosi na jumapili nazo anaenda kujifungia kazini kwake. Sasa hiyo familia saa ngapi jamani?
career yah lakini kwa sisi wanawake inabidi uangalie na umri nao kwa mwanamke kunamiaka inafika unahitaji kuzaa wanao na wewe lakini ndio uko bize na career ukija kushtuka umri umekwenda huna mume huna watoto upweke unaanza stress kila kitu. for me family first.
I totally disagree with you family and responsibilities does not equal happiness and no power. I feel very empowered with my family money and success does not necessarily power. but thats my opinion I agree with everyone else family is priceless!

I think its about balancing both but family is worth a whole lot more. Just priceless!
